PERMISSION PROTOCOL
Updated: 2026-09-09

ONE SENTENCE
Permission Protocol provides external authorization and signed evidence for consequential AI agent actions.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Permission Protocol helps teams control which consequential actions their AI agents may take and inspect evidence of what was authorized. Its product entry points include GitHub approval workflows through Deploy Gate and MCP tool-call controls through MCP Guard. Teams can define an approval boundary, route requests for a decision and inspect signed authorization receipts. Enforcement depends on the configured integration; a receipt records authorization rather than proof that an action executed. Learn more at permissionprotocol.com.

PRODUCT ENTRY POINTS
Deploy Gate: GitHub approval workflows. Requires the configured workflow, required check and appropriate bypass settings.
MCP Guard: MCP tool-call policy enforcement. Covers calls routed through the configured guard.

EVIDENCE SCOPE
Receipts record authorization, not proof of execution. Public demo visitor names are self-reported and unverified; the receipt is signed by Permission Protocol. Demo screenshots are local product demonstrations, not customer deployments.
